Asset

OGRRE LTD is the prospective operator of OML 11, located in the South-Eastern part of Rivers State, Niger Delta. The Asset has a proven oil reserve of over 1.5 billion barrels with production potential of over 300,000 bbls of oil per day. The asset is largely located onshore with some portions within swamp and shallow waters.

Corporate Policies

Health Safety and Environmental Policy OGRRE LTD gives priority to the safety of staff, contractors, partners, stakeholders, and all that are involved in our operations. All our operations are conducted in a manner that gives zero tolerance to environmental degradation, pollution, and hazards. We comply with international standards and in line with acceptable industry best practices. We imbibe safety culture into our staff and make them environmental and safety ambassadors. To meet the above obligations, we have an organized structure for:
· A workable and systematic HSE management procedure that mitigate any identified risk.
· Consistent induction and sensitization programmes for proper understanding of all HSE policies, programmes, performances, and standards.
· Zero tolerance to environmental degradation and pollution.
· A reward system for faithful safety and environmental ambassadors.
· Everyone is a stakeholder and is responsible for his personal safety, safety of others and for the promotion of a clean environment.

Quality Policy

Ogoni Royal Resources and Energy Limited (OGRRE LTD) Quality Policy subscribes to best practices, standards, all codes that promote excellence and quality service and product delivery. Due processes are always followed as specified by the regulator while executing our services.
It is Management’s obligation to ensure the implementation and compliance with all Quality Policies and standards through strategic plans that promote. Every employee and our contractors are accountable and responsible for the quality of services rendered, and has the right to scrutinize, question and be part of the Quality Control and Quality Assurance process.

Environmental Protection Policy

Ogoni Royal Resources and Energy Limited’s policy is to conduct its operations in a manner that assures optimum protection to the environment. Environmental protection and preservation are an integral part of our operations. To achieve this aim, set standards are to be effectively monitored with an aim for continuous improvement through hazard and effect management process, compliance to ISO14001, local and national legal requirements, statutory and regulatory requirements. Waste reduction and efficient use of natural resources are keys to achieving this objective. This policy is made available to all employees, suppliers, customers, neighbouring communities and to the public. In line with this policy, efforts shall be made to provide regular training to all employees to further improve the Company’s technology in building and achieving better environmental practices. This policy is further implemented through:
• Periodic Environmental Assessment to ensure compliance and continuous improvement in operational standards.
• Conduct Environmental impact assessment and post impact assessment on new and completed processes and operations where applicable.
• Consult appropriate authorities, landowners, and users of the area.
• Evaluate environmental performance and appropriate reclamation measures in geophysical operations.

Waste Management Policy

The waste management Policy is a complement to Ogoni Royal Resources and Energy Limited Environmental Protection policy. Ogoni Royal Resources and Energy Limited aims to fully understand the impact that its operations have or could potentially have on the environment. Waste management is the frame tool for effective implementation of the Environmental Protection Policy. Waste is any material resulting from an activity, which has no immediate value to the user that must be disposed of. Lack of proper management of wastes has the potential of causing negative environmental effects. Effective waste management reduces operating cost and liabilities with considerations to Inventory, Characterization, Segregation, Minimization, and Treatment/Disposal. To achieve this aim Ogoni Royal Resources and Energy Limited will:
•  Identify potential hazardous and non-hazardous wastes for easy handling.
• Set priorities on waste management method.
• Classify and segregate wastes accordingly.
• Take all practical and reasonable measures to minimize exhaust emissions (Carbon footprint reduction) and the generation of solid and liquid waste.
• Manage and dispose such waste in a statutory and environment responsible/friendly manner.
• Maintain records in management and disposal of wastes.

Medical and Emergency Response Policy

Ogoni Royal Resources and Energy Limited aims at maintaining a healthy workforce. This will be achieved by ensuring total commitment with priority on medical issues which will be managed as an integral part of the company overall HSSE policy. This policy will be implemented through the following guidelines:
• Carry out pre-employment medical test/screening prior to engagement.
• Conduct health surveillance and fitness to work for all employees and contractors’ workers.
• Provide medical care for all employees and contractors’ workers engaged in company activities.
• Identify personnel to be trained as Designated First Aiders to bridge the gap in managing medical emergency.
• Prevent the occurrence of an emergency incident in its operations.
• There shall be protection and preservation of the environment.
• Emergency response plans shall be in place and followed during emergency in order to save life.
• Respond to medical emergency in an effective and professional manner in order to save lives and minimize the consequences of acute illness and injury that may occur at the workplace.
• The emergency response plans shall include procedure to follow in attending and caring for injured person(s).
• Proper management of emergency situation whenever it occurs to enable normalcy return at work within the shortest possible period and management of medical and health standards shall meet statutory requirements.
• Crisis managers will be responsible for proper coordination of all emergencies with clear roles. and responsibilities.

Right and Duty to Intervene Policy

At Ogoni Royal Resources and Energy Limited, the right and duty to intervene policy is developed to Identify and Manage under-performance that will focus specifically on the exercise of the employees and contractor’s workers powers of intervention required when fellow workers are involved in violations that affects the procedures and policies of the company. These powers of intervention demonstrate the duty of care among workforce where unsafe acts and unsafe practices are observed; where employees have no capacity to improve, and in which has the likelihood to cause harm. This forms part of education and training while carrying out tasks. The major purpose of the intervention policy is to provide transparency accountability framework in all operation where staff and contractors will have respect for each other’s lives. This approach and principles focus on the following: The need to recognize advantages in accident prevention and obligation of no harm to the people.
• The appropriateness of the principles and approach to intervention.
• The importance of flexibility in managing intervention.
• Peer to peer intervention exhibit good working relationship among teams and groups. Resistance to intervention will attract appropriate consequence management indicating wilful breach to established HSSE rules and regulations.
• The appropriateness and fairness of the intervention without being biased or resulting to ethnicity disorder.

Our Investors

The partnership of OGRRE LTD with international and local investors is aimed at utilizing the abundant hydrocarbon resources which has remained untapped in Ogoni to transform the socio-economic status of Ogoni community and by so doing drastically upgrade the quality of life of its people. One justified way of achieving this mission is by building a 100,000 barrels per day refinery, 200mmscf gas plant, a jetty of about 350meter long queue and other ancillary facilities on 40sqm land space in Ogoni Kingdom. This will be the first phase of our development agenda in the infrastructure subsector of the oil and gas sector.
