HRM KING SAMUEL L. A. NNEE JP AMBP FIIM ACArb D.min is the Gbenemene Tai Kingdom & Paramount Ruler, Kpite Tai. He is a member of the Traditional Rulers of Oil and Minerals Producing Communities (TROMPCOM). President, Tai Council of Traditional Rulers; Permanent Member, Rivers State Council of Traditional Rulers; Ag. President, Supreme Council of Traditional Rulers of Ogoni; Incorporated Trustee and Secretary General, Ogoni Oil Producing Community Council of Traditional Rulers (OPCONTRA); former Head of Administration/Chief of Staff to the Chairman, Rivers State Council of Traditional Rulers from June 2012 - June 2015. King Nnee is the Chairman/Spokesman, Nigeria Civil War Impacted Communities of Rivers, Cross River, Akwa Ibom, Abia, Imo, Enugu, Anambra, Ebonyi, Benue and Delta States of Nigeria.; Assistant Vice President (Chieftaincy Affairs - National) and Rivers State Deputy Leader, Oil and Solid Mineral Producing Communities Association of Nigeria (OMPALAN). It is pertinent to note that before his ascension to the throne as Government recognized traditional ruler (Gbenemene Tua Tua Tai and subsequently Gbenemene Tai Kingdom), the Monarch was crowned by his people as Mene Zongon Ayike in 1986 and Paramount Ruler (Menebue) Kpite Community in 1998.
He holds a Higher Diploma in Management, Secretarial & Administration from the Pitman’s College, London. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Information Management (Africa) (FIIM), and an Associate of the Nigerian Institute of Chartered Arbitration (NICArb). A Doctor of Ministry (D.min) in Missions Honoris Causa of Crowther Graduate Theological Seminary, Abeokuta Nigeria. He is also His work experience covered both Government and several multi-national corporations/companies, particularly the hospitality industry where he held various Management positions. He served as Human Resources Manager of Silhouette International Limited, a subsidiary of COURDEAU NIGERIA LIMITED and Manager at Hotel Presidential, Port Harcourt, before his resignation in 2005 to take up his current chieftaincy position as the Gbenemene Tua Tua Tai and subsequently Gbenemene Tai Kingdom, a first Class Rivers State Government recognized Chieftaincy Stool. His Royal Majesty (Sir) King Samuel L. A. Nnee has attended several national and international seminars, courses and workshops where in most cases presented papers on contemporary subjects.As a rising Star, King Nnee took active part in a series of activities which were centered on community development. He also participated in social organizations, particularly youth development bodies, some of which include: - Secretary Kiisi Youth Association Kpite; Chairman, Kpite Youth Network, and Member, Tai Youth Organisation. These positions afforded him the opportunity of managing the Traditional institution of all the communities of the State and ensuring that communal peace were achieved. He is a recipient of several awards, including numerous honors, some of which include: - Merit award for peace in Tai LGA by the Tai Youth Federation, Youth Leader Award for Excellence by the Organisation of Core oil producing Communities, Conflict Resolution Award, Justice of the Peace (JP) by the Rivers State Government, and Ambassador of Peace Award of the United Nations. He is Communicant of the Anglican Communion and also a Nehemiah Awardee of the Church Nigeria, Diocese of Ogoni, Rivers State, Nigeria. He is an accomplished Monarch as well as a seasoned business Entrepreneur abreast with corporate governance principles and international best practice.
